A gentle and relaxing brew, perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon. I am going to experiment with making a strong brew, mixing it with apple juice and making ice lollies.

Delicious fragrant tea.

I was raised in a Tetley teabag house and, other than occasionally using loose leaves at uni, I have always stuck with teabags whether rooibos (my main hot drink), English breakfast tea, Northumberland Tea (aka Jack's Tea), green tea, or jasmine green tea.
Until I came across Team Tea. Their descriptions of the various teas led me to sign up for the Tea Club.

Imereti Georgia Organic was in the first package and I love it. It is as smooth as a breakfast blend but has a rounder mouth feel. I enjoyed it so much, and was so sad when it ran out, that I bought a full size pack, which arrived today! Very happy.

I came upon Taiwanese GABA oolong tea in a local cafe, did not know about its existence prior, and its purported benefit as a sleep aid. This GABA oolong is from Anhui, China, made using the Taiwanese technique. I tried it alongside the GABA green tea from Japan, to see if they can substitute for reishi mushroom tea as sleep aid. So far this has been holding up, perhaps a bit better than the GABA green tea.
This tea has a lovely aroma, and makes a very enjoyable evening drink.
It would be great if Team Tea displays more details about the tea, such as their origins, on the product pages, although Valerie replied quite promptly upon request.

I like this tea, it tastes refreshing and mellow, not grassy like most other Japanese green tea I've had. It seems that it can replace the reishi mushroom tea I've been drinking before dinner to help with sleep. The organic GABA oolong from Anhui is good as well.

By far my favourite tea :) Lovely before bed!
