A delightfully refreshing black tea from Fujian, China with an enchanting aroma of delicate roses. Sometimes known as Rose Pouchong, this is one of the few teas scented in China, where high quality black tea is layered with freshly cut roses 5 nights in a row, and enhanced with rose oils and dried petals. The Chinese believe rose to be good for the heart and this tea is often enjoyed after a meal. We recommend trying without milk.

Tasting Notes || Floral rose notes with an enchanting aroma

Brewing Notes || 1 teaspoon per cup, 100ºC, brew for 3 minutes.

Delightful!

I once have been to an amazing tea shop in Poland, filled with art, amazing garden and a large selection of quality loose teas. I remember once the ever present smell of teas was coming together with the smell of roses, perhaps they were growing nearby. When I saw this tea on this website I was reminded of that place and wondered if it would smell/taste similar and I wasn't disappointed. This tea is lovely, fresh and bright, a reminder of summer and poetry! Will be buying the full tin soon.

I purchased this tea at Blenheim Christmas market. I had fallen in love with a rose tea at Betty's tearooms in Harrogate and tried other inferior products so was overjoyed to find this tea and will be reordering very soon.
