Lapsang Souchong can be a divisive tea, but at Team Tea we think of it as a cosy log fire in a teapot.  Expect an intense black tea with a smoky aroma and hints of pine and oak.  Grown in Natou County, Taiwan at 1000ft - 2000ft.

Ingredients || Luxury Black Tea (Formosa Lapsang)

Warning, packed in an environment that contains nuts

Caffeine || Yes

Tasting Notes || Pine and oak notes with a smoky aroma

Brewing Notes || 1 teaspoon per cup, 100ºC, brew for 3-7 minutes.

This is the best lapsang souchong I have ever tasted.

Rich colour and excellent taste

Many high street/supermarket Lapsangs while giving a strong smoky scent, disappoint with a pale colour and bland taste. This is a beautiful rich colour and the taste is as magnificent as the flavour.

My favourite tea

I absolutely love lapsang. This is delicious real loose-leaf tea (I have a particular distaste for tea bags). Love the quality of Team Tea, tea selections.
