Jasmine Dragon Pearls

£2.75

An exquisite scented green tea from Fujian, China. The tea is picked and rolled into small pearls with plenty of silver bud visible. The tea pearls are layered with fresh jasmine flowers overnight, scenting the tea with their distinctive floral aroma. In the morning the jasmine flowers are removed, and the layering is repeated up to 10 times, with fresh jasmine flowers used each night. The jasmine notes are well balanced and do not overpower, resulting in a liquor that is refreshing and sweet. Delightful after a meal or as a cold brew.

"Beautifully rolled pearls which unfurl nicely to deliver the most gorgeous, delicate yet heady jasmine notes on the infused leaf. The clear gold liquid relays a wonderful sweetness alongside delicate yet impactful jasmine - still not cloying. Wonderfully well judged." - Great Taste Awards 2025 (1 Star)

The scent of childhood but also a shockingly amazing cold brew

I grew up in Beijing and have a visceral memory of everybody walking around with a thermos full of jasmine tea that they topped up with hot water throughout the day. So this was a nostalgic tea; but what was most fun was adding a tablespoon of honey to a large cold brew bottle of the stuff and leaving it to steep in the fridge. The result was a surprisingly authentic “bubble tea” experience — all the flavour with none of the tannins. Outstanding.

This is a delightful and fragrantly comforting tea. I've bought it now regularly and it is my favourite cuppa
Buy it without disappointment.

Delicate - almost rinsed out flavour. Not particularly impressed.

Trying lots of Jasmine pearl suppliers - it ranges fro m£50 to £250 per kid. I will pick best flavour per pound. This one is not winning.

So good

This is a tea I had avoided trying out of fear I wouldn’t like it but I was so very pleased that this tea is beyond delicious! So good and comforting with a hint of sweet. I will definitely be ordering again.
