Toba Wangi Indonesia
A rich black tea from the volcanic soils of the Toba Wangi Estate in West Java. Indonesia may be famed for its coffee production, but tea has been grown there since the early 18th Century, and flourished when tea bushes were brought over from Assam, India. Picked from Assamica bushes, these large leathery leaves release a superb depth of flavour, with creamy malt notes complimenting sweet dark fruits. Strong enough to add milk, but we recommend trying without first and can be infused 2-3 times!
