Oriental Beauty Oolong
This unique oolong from Taiwan can only be produced after the jassids (leaf hoppers) have attacked the tea bushes. The jassids nibble at the leaves and stems causing them to oxidise whilst still on the bush, and combined with the enzymes that the bushes produce to defend themselves, it gives this tea a unique flavour. Around 60-70% oxidation but expect a tea that is lively, fruity and gently floral.
