A weird but delicious tea

I was a bit skeptical when I saw that rice was involved with the tea however once I tried it I fell in love. It definitely does have that brown rice taste and smell and doesn’t exactly taste like green tea but it’s really good nonetheless

Has an odd yeasty, bready type of taste.
Not unpleasant but that is because it doesn't really taste of tea? As you can see it is a difficult one to describe. Don't think we'll get it again.

Taste fantastic!

Subtle sweet taste and very pleasurable

The Best Popcorn Tea I have ever tasted

Lovely fine green tea mixed with delicate toasted rice, a handsome, very green brew, with a nutty crunch and a decent punch of caffeine; good mid afternoon drinking.

Light, delicate and sweet Genmaicha tea

I really like this Genmaicha. I've only really had experience with lower grades of the tea, so this was a little different to my pallette, but I greatly prefer this to other types of Genmaicha. My preferred brewing time for this is more like 1 minute and 20 seconds, compared to the recommended 1 minute 30 seconds, as the 1:30 mark seems to cut it really fine to when tanins start to come through and cause the tea to taste slightly bitter. With that aside though, I genuinely love how light and delicate this tea tastes, and has a lot of sweet grassy notes to it that I very much enjoy, in addition to the buttery smoothness from the popped rice kernels. Thank you, Team Tea!
